Elderberry Recipe

Elderberry is a medicinal plant that has a tart flavor which studies have shown it may help fight cold and flu symptoms. Elderberry is a source of high Vitamin A B & C, high in antioxidants and may also have anti-inflammatory properties.  Elderberries are most popular for its immune system support. 

Here is an easy recipe to help create a homemade elderberry syrup.  


  • 3 Cup of water 
  • 1 Cup of dried elderberry
  • 2 TBSP grated fresh ginger 
  • 2 Cinnamon barks
  • 1/2 Ground clove
  • 2/3 Cup of honey
